About Lauren Bartels
Prep: Lettered once in track and field and once in cross country at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio...competed in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter races in track and field and the 5K and 2 mile runs in cross country...earned National Elite Silver Standard in the 5K and the 3,200 meters...holds the school record in the 3,200 meters with a personal-best time of 11:18...qualified for the 3,200 meters and DMR at the Texas Relays...helped lead the track and field team to a district runner-up finish...helped the cross country squad place fourth at the Texas Regionals...also lettered all four years on the soccer team as an outside and center midfielder...helped the soccer team win district championships in 2012 and 2014, while finishing second in 2013...the team was a Region IV 5A State soccer semifinalist during her senior season.Personal: Has one younger sister.
