Cardenas captured the 2017 Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Academy Cup title and was a runner-up at two American Junior Golf Championship events – the 2016 Sergio Garcia Foundation Junior Championship and the 2017 AJGA Junior at The Seagate...At the age of 12, she was the runner-up at the Colombian Open...Represented her country in several tournaments, including the Spirit International and Duke of York Invitational in 2015 and the South American Pre-Junior and Junior Championships in 2014, 2015 and 2016...Off the course, the 2015-16 GGGA Player of the Year was nominated for the National Honor Society in 2015 named to the AJGA Transamerica Scholastic Honor Roll in 2016.
