2023: Competed in 30 matches for the Green Wave and held a 23-7 overall record... Went 20-7 from the fifth position and 3-0 from the fourth... Swept 19 opponents throughout the season...Earned an upset win over top ten opponent, Stanford (Apr. 5), alongside Savka Popovic... The pair also upset no. 13 Washington (Apr. 1).

2022: Earned a 21-16 overall record... Went 14-10 from the two position and 7-6 from the three position... Swept 18 opponents throughout the season.

2021: Earned a 25-9 overall record in her first season with the Green Wave, going 18-9 from the No. 4 position and putting together an undefeated 7-0 record on court five…Defeated six ranked opponents, in No. 10 TCU, No. 3 LSU, No. 20 FAU, No. 13 FIU, No. 7 TCU and No. 17 South Carolina…Put together an 8-0 winning streak as a freshman…Swept her opponent on 19 occasions.

Prior to Tulane: Torruella makes her way to Tulane from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she served as the Saint John's School's volleyball team captain, earned MVP honors in each of her four years and led her team to three Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance (PRHSAA) league championships and one sub-championship...Earned multiple awards in club volleyball, having been named to the All-American Team at the AAU Nationals 14U Open division when her team finished third overall...Back-to-back varsity PRHSAA league champion in beach volleyball, winning many tournaments on the sand throughout the country...Placed third at the BVCA's 14U Open division in Hermosa Beach, California and won the 15U Open in Pompano Beach, Florida, the SSOVA Siesta Key Open and the Dig the Beach Open...Finished third at the AVP First Championships 18U Open division in Hermosa Beach and first at the CBVA Manhattan Beach Open Tour Stop 18U Open...Joins her older sister, Eva Torruella, on the roster.
