MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES & SERVICES - Men's Basketball
Interviews
All interview requests for coaches and student-athletes MUST be coordinated through the Strategic Communications office.
During the regular season, student-athletes are available for interviews, either in person or on the phone, before or after practice depending on their class and meeting schedules.
In order to have time to arrange for player interviews, please provide 24 hours notice to the Strategic Communications office. Student-athlete interviews may be conducted in the Hertz Practice Facility, at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse or in the Strategic Communications office. The Tulane training rooms, basketball locker rooms and weight room areas are off-limits to the media. Your cooperation is appreciated.
For telephone interviews, student-athletes will be provided with the number and will make the call at a mutually-agreed upon time. Phone numbers of student-athletes will not be made available to the media.
Practice Coverage
In general, practices held at the Hertz Practice Facility or Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse are open to the local media. However, practices may be closed or moved without notice. Please contact the Strategic Communications office if you plan on attending practice so that we may alert the coaching staff and confirm the day's practice schedule.
Still photographs and video may be shot at any time during practice by approved agencies. Media are asked to remain in the stands during practice, and are asked not to speak to players or coaches during the workout.
