Don & Lora Peters Academic Center

Following a $2.2 million renovation, the completely refurbished and expanded Don & Lora Peters Academic Center reopened in the Fall of 2021 to serve the academic support and career development needs of all of Tulane’s student-athletes. The renovated space includes state of the art technology, five private study rooms, an open study lounge, a large multipurpose classroom, and ten staff offices which will house the department’s Academic Support and Student Athlete Enhancement staff. The space bears the names of Don and Lora Peters, in recognition of their generous seed gift to the project as well as their lifelong commitment to the overall success and well-being of Tulane’s student-athletes.
