Twice named to the all-county team after hauling in 90 receptions and scoring 13 touchdowns during his prep career. As a senior, named team captain and led the county with 41 receptions for 870 yards (21.2 yards per catch) and six touchdowns. Had 30 receptions for 851 yards (28.4 avg.) and five touchdowns as a junior, and snared 15 passes for 350 yards and two scores as a sophomore. Four-year letterwinner who also lettered in basketball and track where he runs the 400 meters and has a career-best high jump of 6-5. Off the field, was recognized by 'Who[apos]s Who Among American High School Students' and was a member of the National Honor Roll.
