2002: Redshirted the season.

High School: Lettered for four years for the successful Salmen program. Helped the Spartans to the 12-4A state championship as a junior and the state semifinals as a senior. Earned all-state honors and was the team Defensive MVP. Also was named the district MVP and all-parish and all-metro. Top game featured eight tackles and two interceptions, including one which he returned for a touchdown. Also lettered in track for one year, competing in the 200-meter dash.

Personal: William Herbert Stubbs. Born August 24, 1983 in Slidell, La. The son of Bill and Christie Stubbs. Father played football at Southeastern University for two years and uncle Marc played four years at Southeastern. Plans to major in information systems at Tulane.
