Morse oversees all digital content for the football program, coordinating the production and release on social media platforms.
Her duties also include assistance with recruiting. Since her arrival, Tulane Football’s reach on social media has significantly increased.
In her first season with the team, the @GreenWaveFB twitter account totaled 1.65 million impressions.
In addition, Morse works with Director of Football Video Operations Mitch Bernardo to produce and edit daily recruiting content and team motivational videos. She also assists with producing, filming and editing the team’s introduction video.
This past spring, Morse’s 2017 Tulane Football introduction video was recognized by the Sports Video Group (SVG) as one of eight finalists in the 2018 Most Outstanding Promotion, PSA, Tease or Marketing Campaign category.
In addition to her duties at Tulane, Morse is also a part-time sideline reporter and content writer. Her work has been featured on FloSports, ESPNU, ESPN3, Sun Belt Digital Network, Southland Conference Television, WAFB, Cox Sports Television and Pelican Sports TV.
Morse came to Tulane after a one-year stint as the Digital Media Assistant and on-camera reporter at the Sun Belt Conference. At the SBC, she created and hosted “Sun Belt Conference Weekly” and served as the SBC’s contact for women’s volleyball and softball. She also served as the conference’s sideline reporter for all ESPN productions.
Morse graduated from Southeastern Louisiana in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Communication. During her time of undergraduate study at SLU, Morse was a four-year starter, team captain and pitcher on the Lady Lions softball team. She was also President of the SLU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. In April of 2015, Morse was awarded the prestigious Jim McKay Broadcasting Scholarship from the NCAA ($10,000) and the CoSIDA Langston Rogers Scholarship ($2,500); both for national excellence in sports coverage.
In 2015, Morse graduated with her master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Southeastern Louisiana. During her two years of graduate study, she served as the graduate assistant for SLU’s Sports Information Department, interned at WAFB Channel 9 in Baton Rouge, and was also the ESPNU Campus Connection Correspondent. In May 2015, Morse received the Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for her video feature on a Lion football player, “It Runs in the Family: The Tyler Stoddard Story”.
Morse lives in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and is the daughter of Kelly and Abby Morse. She has one brother, Caleb.
