Bernardo was orginally hired as the team’s assistant director for football video operations at Tulane in August 2016. The following year, Bernardo was elevated to his current title of Director of Football Video Operations.
In his current capacity, Bernardo oversees the team’s practice film.
In addition, Bernardo works with Director of New Media Kati Morse to produce and edit daily recruiting content and team motivational videos. He also produces, films and edits the team’s introduction video.
This past spring, Bernardo’s 2017 Tulane Football introduction video was recognized by the Sports Video Group (SVG) as one of eight finalists in the 2018 Most Outstanding Promotion, PSA, Tease or Marketing Campaign category.
Before arriving at Tulane, Bernardo worked as a video intern for Georgia Southern’s football program from 2015-16. During his time at Georgia Southern, Bernardo produced and edited the Eagles daily recruiting videos and assisted with the shooting and distribution of practice film to the coaches.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Bernardo earned his bachelor’s degree in multimedia film production from Georgia Southern University in 2016.
In 2018, Bernardo married his high school sweetheart, Sandra.
