Tim Keane enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach on offense for the Green Wave in 2009.
Keane, 25, came to Tulane from his alma mater, the University of California-Davis, where he served as the
offensive line coach and oversaw the team[apos]s punt and kickoff teams during the 2007 season.
A four-year letterwinner and two-year starter, who started 22 consecutive games for the Aggies at center, Keane became the only player in school history to win the Bob Oliver Award (Unsung Hero) when he was selected in 2005 and 2006. He served as a team captain as a senior and was part of a team that amassed a 34-21-0 overall record, and was a part of the school[apos]s streak of 37 straight winning seasons.
Following graduation, he served as an offensive assistant for UC-Davis.
A native of Los Angeles, Calif., Keane received his bachelor[apos]s degree in psychology with a minor in education from UC-Davis in 2006, and is currently working on his master[apos]s degree in liberal arts.
