Ranks seventh all-time in passing yards, completions and pass attempts and tied for sixth in touchdown passes at Tulane. Has thrown for touchdowns in 19 of his 21 career games played.
2005: Completed 166-of-323 passes (51.4%) in 10 games at quarterback (eight starts). Finished the year with 1,932 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Came off the bench to complete 10-of-17 passes for 130 yards and a TD in the second half against Tulsa (11/19). Threw for TDs in nine straight games before being shutout at Navy (11/5). In the UTEP (10/14) and UCF (10/21) games, completed 56-of-99 passes for 736 yards and six touchdowns. Threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns against UCF (10/21), the fifth time in his career he has thrown for three or more scores. Registered 376 passing yards, the second-most of his career and the 11th-most in school history, versus UTEP (10/14). Passed for 324 yards, his third-highest career total, and a pair of touchdowns in Tulane[apos]s win over Southeastern Louisiana (10/1). Connected on a pair of TDs and accumulated 213 passing yards against SMU (9/24).
2004: Selected as the Louisiana Newcomer of the Year by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association. Ranked 11th in the country in passing efficiency with a 152.51 mark. In his first year as the Green Wave starter, completed nearly 62% of his passes before breaking his wrist early in the second half versus Army (11/13). Threw a school-record six touchdown passes in Tulane[apos]s 59-55 win over UAB (10/23), tying the C-USA mark. Completed 36-of-49 passes for 417 yards in the game for the third-highest yardage total in school history. Added an 87-yard TD strike to Roydell Williams, matching the second-longest in school history. Named national Division I Player of the Week by CollegeSportsReport.com as well as C-USA and Louisiana Offensive Player of the Week, following the UAB game. Completed 18-of-19 passes for 323 yards and four TDs in Tulane[apos]s upset win over Navy (11/6). Set the school record for completion percentage in a game and earned Louisiana Player of the Week honors for the second time. Before his injury against Army, completed 13-of-18 passes for 227 yards and a pair of scores, including a 63-yard scoring connection. Also threw for three touchdowns and 226 yards against Memphis (10/16). Had 36 rushes for a net of 14 yards and tallied 1895 yards of total offense.
2003: Sat out the season as a transfer.
2002 (At LSU): Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rated as the nation[apos]s No. 5 quarterback by Rivals.com and earned Parade All-America honors. Selected as a member of the Baton Rouge Advocate Super Dozen as well as the Dallas Morning News Super Southern 100. Also a SuperPrep All-American and third team All-South by BorderWars. Passed for 2,421 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior. Led Amite to the semifinals of the Class 3A playoffs. Earned district MVP honors. Over the final two years of his career, completed 244-of-434 attempts (56.2%) for 3,765 yards and 40 touchdowns. Four-year letterwinner in basketball and lettered twice in track.
