As an All-District 7-5A selection as a senior as well as All-Jefferson Parish while playing safety. Selected to play in the Orleans-Jefferson All-Star Game. Defensive MVP of his East Jeff team as a senior. Totalled 131 career tackles, 82 solo, and picked off six passes. Superior special teamer who blocked three punts in his prep career, returning one for a score. Tallied a career-high 67 tackles, 44 solo, in his senior season while intercepting four passes and recovering a fumble. Compiled 39 tackles, 21 solo, as a junior and added 25 his sophomore yearr. Team advanced to the state playoffs in two of his four years. Also participated in soccer and track where he was a 5A All-State hurdler as a junior. Runs the forty in 4.5 seconds.
