HIGH SCHOOL: An all-league selection in football for the Cougars, who were the bi-district champions in his junior year. Booted a school-record 46-yard field goal and also owns the school record for kickoff average. Played safety and registered 17 career interceptions. Lettered in basketball, track and golf as well.

PERSONAL: Full name is Michael Scott Sager. Born April 21, 1985 in Colby, Kan. The son of Hal and Judy Sager. A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Plans to major in psychology at Tulane and hopes to attend law school.
