Career Notes: Three-year letterman has played in 31 games with 14 starts during his career...pass protection has helped Tulane quarterbacks surpass the 300-yard plateau five times, including a pair of 400-yard efforts, and helped paved the way for one 100-yard runner.
2013: Saw action in all 13 games with two starts at center as a senior...also a key member of the field goal/PAT units and has played tight end as an extra blocker...helped the team roll up a season-high 482 total yards, including a season-best 277 on the ground, in a start at center vs UTEP (11/23).
2012: Started all 12 games at center as a junior...helped the team average 319.5 yards of total offense per game (39.6 rushing, 279.9 passing)...paved the way for a season-high 619 yards of total offense, including a season-best 153 yard showing on the ground, vs UAB (10/27)...provided protection for a school-record 476 passing yards vs Rice (11/3).
2011: Played in seven games as a sophomore...came in late as a reserve offensive lineman against Southeastern Louisiana (9/3), vs Tulsa (9/10), at UAB (9/17), at Army (10/1), vs UTEP (10/15), at SMU (11/5) and vs Houston (11/10).
2010: Did not play as a redshirt-freshman.
2009: Did not play as a true freshman...redshirted the season.
High School: Four-year letterman at John Curtis Christian High where he saw time along the offensive and defensive lines for coach J.T. Curtis...named two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com and recognized by ESPN.com as the No. 115 defensive tackle prospect in the country...helped the Patriots go a combined 50-4 as a prepster with four consecutive state titles...named first-team all-state, all-metro and all-district and claimed a spot on The Times Picayune Top 25 Blue Chip List as a senior after posting 80 tackles and four sacks for 24 yards in loss...as a junior, recorded 78 tackles and a pair of sacks...as a sophomore, tallied 51 stops, one sack and four quarterback hurries...also earned four letters in basketball...off the field, was a member of the Interact Club and finished second in the 2008 Science Fair.
