2002: Caught five passes for 64 yards in the Hawai[apos]i Bowl to finish third on the team in receiving despite missing four games with a shoulder injury. Made 21 catches for 340 yards and two touchdowns. His 16.2 yards per catch average ranked second on the squad. His five catches in Hawai[apos]i were a season high. Grabbed four passes for 34 yards against UAB (10/19). Made three catches for 32 yards versus UL-Monroe (10/5) in his first game back from the injury. Tallied a season-high 64 yards receiving in the season finale with Southern Miss (11/23) with all the yards coming on one 64-yard touchdown bomb in the third quarter. Play gave Tulane an imposing 21-10 lead. Did not play in the ECU (9/14), Memphis (9/21), Texas (9/28) and Army (11/16) games. Caught at least one pass in every game he played with multiple receptions in five games. Had a 29-yard touchdown catch in the Navy game (10/26) and connected with J.P. Losman on a two-point conversion toss. Became Tulane[apos]s deep threat when Roydell Williams went out as he caught passes of 64, 36 and 29 (twice) yards.
2001: Played in eight games, including four starts at wide receiver. Missed four games due to a back injury. Tallied 16 receptions for 126 yards. Collected a career-high six catches (for 39 yards) against UAB (10/20). Had a career-high 48 yards on five catches against UCF (9/22), including a career-long 24-yard grab for his only career touchdown. Had one rush on the season, a nine-yard end-around against BYU (8/25).
2000: Saw action in one game, the season finale against Memphis (11/18).
1999: Redshirted the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of Salmen High School in Slidell, La., where he lettered in football and track. A starter at both receiver and defensive back for Salmen. Returned three punts for touchdowns as a senior and earned all-state honors as a punt returner. Also collected all-district and all-parish honors. Coached by Bill Stubbs. Set his school[apos]s track record in the 100 meters at 10.5 seconds. Earned parish MVP honors in track.
