A state Top 100 selection by the Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle and Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Also No. 35 on the Morning News[apos] All-Area list. Listed on Rivals.com Texas[apos] Top 100. A three-time all-district selection on the defensive line. Named Sophomore of the Year in the district in 2001. As a senior, credited with 62 tackles in nine games and had five sacks. Made 48 tackles and got to the quarterback six times as a junior. Added 22 tackles and seven sacks his sophomore season. Led his team to the district championship in 2002 and 2003 and the squad also went on to win the bi-district titles both years. Also plays basketball where he averages 12 points and 10 rebounds per game. Runs a 4.7 40.
