HIGH SCHOOL: Played quarterback for three different high schools, starting at each one of those schools. As a senior at Vanden High School in Fairfield, Calif., passed for 1,205 yards and 16 touchdowns (school record) in just 103 attempts. Three three touchdowns without an incompletion in one game while also kicking three field goals. Ranked by Rivals.com as one of the top 100 players in the Western United States. Named to the Bay Area[apos]s Best Athlete List by The Reporter. Threw for nine TD[apos]s as a junior at Vanden. An all-league selection and team MVP in both of his years at Vanden. Started three games as a freshman at North Stafford High in Stafford, Va., earning Newcomer of the Year honors. Also quarterbacked the Davis High team in Davis, Calif., as a sophomore. Also lettered in basketball, golf and wrestling.

PERSONAL: Full name is Ryan Anthony Meyers. Born August 9, 1987 in Merced, Calif. The son of George and Linda Meyers. Has lived all over the United States and attended three high schools because his father is an Air Force pilot, but considers New Orleans home. Father played football at Nicholls State. Plans to attend medical school after Tulane.
