Parker Peltier joined the Tulane University football staff in July of 2022 as the Associate Director of Football New Media and starts his second season in 2023.
Peltier is a well-accomplished videographer, producer, on-air talent and director that has been involved in the new media industry since 2012.
He arrives at Tulane after most recently working at Southeastern Louisiana University as the video production coordinator for the last two years. While at SELU, Peltier worked as the Video Production Coordinator for athletics department. In the role, he was directly involved with shooting, writing and editing videos for all 16 athletic social media channels plus was heavily involved with ESPN+ broadcasts. He increased viewership on social videos by 25% over a four-month period of time. He also was directly responsible for the creation and execution of the content plan and all deliverable for the 2021 SELU rebrand. During his time with the Lions, he covered the 2022 Southland Championship Baseball program and helped grow the school’s ESPN production department to 90 events per year.
Peltier has also worked for the National Football League (NFL) for the last two years as part of the live content team. In the position, he assisted with remote shoots for teams across the NFL in New Orleans, Houston and Tampa markets. He also remotely assisted with media management and content distribution for the league social media channels on game days. in the role, he featured content with 10+ different teams across all social platforms plus covered the NFL Playoffs, the NFL Draft and the Senior Bowl.
Peliter, a 2020 graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and minor in business, worked as the student intern at LSU for the athletic department for three years. In that period of time he shot and edited six different television shows, edited and shot video for social media channels and produced content both in-person and remotely. In his time at LSU, Peltier covered three SEC Championships (2018 Men’s Basketball, 2019 Men’s Track & Field and 2019 Football), a national championship (2019 football) and contributed to the 2019 season of the SEC Networks SEC Inside (Football and Basketball).
Also while at LSU, Peltier worked as part of the first all student creative team within LSU Enrollment Management. It was a position that saw him involved in motion graphic design and video production to aid improve the overall enrollment numbers for the school.
Peliter has been worked in freelance production since 2012 and has worked for a wide variety of companies including Press Play Production, River Parish Football, the Louisiana Prep-Sports Network, the New Orleans Zephyrs, ASM Global New Orleans, the New Orleans Pelicans, ESPN and LSU Production. In particular, he has worked as the replay operator with the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans.
