HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time all-district selection, who was a unanimous first team choice as a senior. Named to the second team all-state squad by the Louisiana Football Coaches[apos] Association as a senior. Three-year starter at offensive tackle who helped four St. Thomas Aquinas rushers reach the 1,000-yard mark during his career. Team advanced to the state playoffs all four years. District 8-2A champion in the shot put as a junior.
