2016: Appeared in two games (vs. UL Lafayette on Sept. 24 and at UMass on Oct. 1) before being redshirted for the season.
High School: Prepped at Baton Rouge’s (LA) University Laboratory School as a wide receiver/cornerback for Coach Chad Mahaffey...Rated by ESPN.com as a four-star recruit, the 20th top athlete in the country and the 22nd overall prospect in the state of Louisiana, while Scout.com ranked him as the No. 3 athlete in the state...Rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.com, Rivals.com, Scout.com and the 37th overall prospect in the state by 247Sports.com...An all-state and all-district performer...Led his squad to a 10-2 overall record and a state semifinal finish as a senior and to a state title as a junior...As a Class 3A first-team All-State selection in 2014 at University High, which went 15-0 and won the Division II state championship with a 46-32 victory against Parkview Baptist in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome...It was the Cubs’ first state title since 1988...As a two-way starter, Jackson caught 45 passes for 876 yards and nine touchdowns and also averaged 35.6 yards on kickoff returns and 16.9 yards on punt returns with a score.
