2003: Played in five games as a true freshman, seeing time on the defensive line. Recorded six tackles, including four solo. Notched a career-best three stops (all solo) against Northwestern State (9/6).
HIGH SCHOOL: All-state selection in 2002. Member of the Times-Picayune Top 25 Blue Chip list. A four-year starter who earned District 5-2A MVP honors in 2002. First team all-district defensive lineman in 2002. Placed on the Iberia Parish All-Star team. Named to The Daily Iberian[apos]s Best of the Teche football team. Recorded 73 tackles, including 58 solo and 15 assists, and three sacks. Also caused two fumbles and recovered three. In his junior season, he made 50 solo tackles and eight sacks. Also named to the All-District 5-2A team.
PERSONAL: Full name is Tremell VaShaun Jack. Born August 15, 1985 in Lafayette, La. The son of Gisele Jack. His uncle, Artie Hypolite, played football at Nicholls State. Majoring in the humanities.
