2022-23 Track Season: Competed in nine meets between indoor and outdoor season…Earned All-Conference honors in the 1500m by finishing third with a 3:45.27 at the AAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships…Finished second in the 800m at the Samford Invitational (1:54.95)…Took 11th in the mile at the Music City Challenge (4:03.85)…Had a career-best run of 14:27.84 at the 5000m at the Raleigh Relays…Placed 12th in the mile at the Texas Relays (14:23.39)…Also competed in the 5000m at the AAC Outdoor Championships (15:31.01).
2022 Cross Country : Won the UNO XC Opener on Sept. 2, with a time of 14:43.0 in the 5k… Placed 11th in the Louisville Classic on Oct.1 with a time of 23:43.2 in the 8k… Finished 12th in the Arturo Barrios Invitational (Oct. 15) and 13th in the AAC Championships (Oct. 28)… Had a career best in the 10k at the NCAA Division I South Central Region Cross Country Championships with a time of 32:19.6 (Nov. 19).
Before Tulane:
Was a four-year letterman Irvin High School in El Paso, Texas.…Competed under coach Charles Cephuis… During his time in high school, he twice set the school record in 1600m and the 3200m and won a bronze medal at the UIL State Meet…Started his collegiate career at McNeese State, where he was a four-year letterman under coach Brendon Gilroy…Helped his team earn the 2021 Southland Conference Cross Country Championship

Son of Robert and Yvonne Gilliam…He has an older brother, Robert …Enjoys skateboarding, running, and cooking …After Tulane, he hopes to become a professional runner for Team USA…He would also like to coach and work as a teacher… One thing nobody knows about Aaron is that he was on the path to becoming a professional skateboarder before he broke his ankle…He skateboarded for Santa Cruz and Zoo York
