Ben Miner enters his fourth season with the Tulane men's basketball program and his second as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development and Video Operations ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. Miner began his time with the Green Wave serving as a student manager.
During his first season as the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development and Video Operations, Miner helped Tulane strengthen its defense to ultimately lead the American Conference in field goal percentage holding opponents to 41.1 percent shooting from the floor. He also helped the program and staff reach the postseason for the first time since 2014 with a berth in the 2025 Inaugural College Basketball Crown in Las Vegas.
His responsibilities include managing a group of 10 student workers, facilitating practice operations, and aiding coaches with their day-to-day needs. Miner is also set to graduate from the Freeman business school in the summer of 2025 with a Master of Business Administration degree.
Miner originally joined the Green Wave as a student manager for his time as an undergraduate student. Student managers are expected to attend practices, work games, and help with any equipment or administrative needs of the program. Miner graduated from Tulane University in 2023 with a degree in both Marketing and Business Management.
