Career: Four-year letter winner…has played in 124 games and has an overall record of 65-59…she is 5-8 in pairs and 60-51 in dual play…played most of her career on courts four and five, posting three straight winning seasons in the No. 5 position, where she holds a 41-29 record...also went 18-22 on court four, posting a 13-5 record as a senior.
2017: Posted twenty wins for the first time in her senior season with the third-best record on the team at 24-13…saw action on courts four and five with one match on court three…opened the season on an eight-game winning streak…went 13-5 on court four, playing most of the year with Hannah Holmes and pairing up with Anna Chin at the season’s end…also went 10-8 on court five with Christina McAfee…defeated No. 12 Arizona State in straight sets (3/31)…16 of her wins came in straight sets.
2016: Finished the 2016 season with an 18-17 overall record…split her time on the sand between the No. 4 and 5 spots with her partners Miah Diirell, Hannah Holmes, and Anna Chin…her strongest position was the No. 5 spot where she notched a 14-5 record…she started the season off with a six game win streak with Diirell including a top 10 win against #10 Stetson (3/4) and towards the end of the season went on a five game win streak with Chin with wins against #8 Georgia State (4/23) and #12 North Florida.
2015: Increasing her win total by three in her sophomore campaign, Strasner posted a 13-15 overall record with an 11-13 mark in dual play ... Found success at flight No. 5, tallying an 11-7 record ... Mainly partnered with Miah Diirell, as the duo went 8-8 overall and 2-2 at the Fiesta on Siesta Key Tournament ... Also partnered with freshman Christina McAfee (5-7) ... Started 2015 with three straight wins, defeating pairs from LSU, Arizona State and TCU ... Produced a second three match win streak after picking up wins vs. Mercer, Spring Hill and UNO ... Went 2-0 against pairs from LSU and South Carolina.
2014: Recorded a 10-14 overall record ... Went 7-8 in dual matches and 3-6 in pairs ...Her 7 dual victories tied for the second most on the team ...Partnered with Miah Diirellin the No. 5 position in all but the first match ... Picked up her first career win against Stetson's Kalin/Kennedy ... Produced a season best four match win streak from March 26-April 5, defeating foes from LSU, UAB, Webber International and ULM ... Ended the dual season with back-to-back straight set wins over ULM and UAB ... Earned one victory from the No. 4 position, defeating Arizona State's Bailey/Pirotte.
High School: Three-year letterwinner at Clear Lake High School for coach Chanda Eager...helped lead the Falcons to a combined 94-39 overall record, a 39-5 mark in District 16-2A action and trips to the playoff each year, including an area finalist finish as a junior and a state semifinalist showing as a senior...named Clear Lake MVP in each of her final two prep seasons and was voted team captain as a senior when she spearheaded an effort that saw the team go 32-10 overall and win the district title with a perfect 12-0 record...that season, recorded 398 kills, 123 blocks and 55 aces en route to claiming all-state recognition and claiming a spot on the 4A-5A All-Star Team...named all-tournament at the Nike Classic Girl's High School Pearland and Kingwood High School Tournaments as a junior and senior...in the outdoor game, qualified for the U18-Open Beach Volleyball Nationals in 2013...also earned three varsity letters in ultimate frisbee.
