Was the only pair to defeat No. 15 South Carolina in Gulf Shores (Mar. 20)... Clinched the upset over No.19 South Carolina in the opening round of the CCSA Tournament (Apr. 28).

Prior to Tulane: Popovic comes to New Orleans from Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois, where she played three seasons on the varsity indoor volleyball team as a defensive specialist and setter...Received the MVP award in her freshman year and served as co-captain in her final year with the team as a senior...Trained with the Ohio-Valley Beach Volleyball Club/P1440 and has competed in many USAV, AAU and AVP tournaments on the sand...Trained with Chicago Prime Sand and Progression Volleyball Club for beach volleyball and Michio Chicago Volleyball Club for indoor, leading her team as captain...A member of the National Honor Society and her school's honor roll, Popovic intends to double major in business and history at Tulane with the hopes of pursuing a law degree post-graduation.
