Prior to Tulane: Arrives from San Juan, Puerto, Rico where she graduated from Dorado Academy in Dorado, Puerto Rico in the spring of 2023...At Dorado, she has been a member of the Student Council, Interact Club and the Health and Safety Club...Was also a member of the Puerto Rico Junior National Team...Has been bowling for nine years and has a high sport league average of 182 and a USBC-sanctioned sport league average of 169....Her high game is a 268. In July 2015 at the Youth Open Championships, she placed seventh in the Singles U12 Girls Scratch and second in the Doubles U12 Scratch...At the Puerto Rico Pepsi Youth Championships in March 2017, she won the tournament and qualified for the Junior Gold. In July 2017 at the Junior Gold Championship, she finished 61st among all the U12 competitors. In school at Sagrado Corazon de Jesus from 2016-2019, she aided her team to four straight Catholic League Bowling Tournament titles, while also being named the Team Most Valuable Player (MVP)...She won, was named the MVP and had the highest game average among all competitors at the Puerto Rico Pepsi Youth Championship U15 Girls Division in March 2019. Her victory also qualified her for the Junior Gold. Was invited and finished third overall at the Puerto Rico Junior Team tryouts in March 2022...At the 2022 Junior Gold U18 Girls, she finished with an average of 172...She was invited to participate in the Puerto Rico Adult Team Trials in August 2022, where finished 12th overall with a 172 average...At the PBA Junior National Championship South Qualifier in August 2022, she made the cut, averaged 207 in match-play, and finished seventh overall with a total average of 195. She was invited and made the Puerto Rico Junior National Team in October 2022 by placing second overall...That team represented the country in CONCECABOL in the fall of 2022. At CONCECABOL, the team won the Silver Medal with an average of 200 and then the Gold Medal at Festival CONCECABOL with an average of 200. In singles play, Solla won the bronze medal with an average of 187 and the bronze medal at CONCECABOL in all events....Is also an active table tennis player that helped her team win the event in 2022 at the PRHSAA's (Puerto Rico High School Athletic Alliance) Annual Tournament...First name is pronounced Juan-ee-leez.
