Ornella Arrizon enters her first season as the assistant coach of the Tulane women's golf program after being hired in June of 2025.
Arrizon joins the Green Wave after serving as a graduate assistant for two seasons at South Alabama from 2023-25. During her stint at South Alabama, she helped guide the Jaguars to four top three tournament finishes including winning the Green Wave Invitational at TPC Louisiana in September 2024.

While coaching at South Alabama Arrizon also aided in the development of two All-Conference selections and the Freshman of the Year in the Sun Belt in 2025.

Prior to her time with the Jaguars, she served both as Director of Instruction for Junior Academies at Club de Golf Vallescondido (four years) and Club de Golf Bellavista (three years), while overseeing golf operations and events.

Arrizon has also served as an on-air commentator for LIV Golf Tour tournament broadcasts in Mexico and Latin America. She holds golf certifications with TPI, Golf Biomechanics, U.S. Kids, Trackman and Sam Putt Lab, and was part of a Certificate Program in Sports Psychology in 2021. Arrizon has also been a member of PGA of Mexico since 2020.

The Mexico City, Mexico, native had a stellar collegiate career at Jacksonville State from 2009-13 where she was a three-time Ohio Valley all-tournament team selection. As a junior, Arrizon claimed the individual OVC Championship and led the Gamecocks to an NCAA Regional appearance.

Arrizon earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and graduated magna cum laude from Jacksonville State in 2013. She also obtained two Master of Science Degrees from South Alabama in 2025, one in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion, and another in Sport Management.
