Bio
Prior to Tulane: Freeman was a 2022 and 2023 US Paralympic Nationals' Gold medalist in the 200 backstroke. In 2023 and 2024 she was a Scholastic All American and a finalist in five events at 2024 US Paralympic Trials. She earned fifth in the 400 free final and sixth in the 50 free at the event. She was part of the United States Paralympic emerging team and earned the standard in the 400 free final at the 2024 World Para Series. She qualified for 2020 Paralympic trials at age 14. She made the finals in every event at the 2024 Paralympic World Series and finished second in the 400 freestyle, ranked 33rd in the world in the 100m backstroke and ranked 34th in the world for the 400 freestyle.
