Prior to Tulane: Strongyli podiumed all five previous years in the national championships, winning the 50 Free last season. Last May, she represented Greece in the World School Games in Normandy where she got fourth place in the 50 Back and fifth in the 200 IM. She owns 10 of her high school's records and the 200 IM record in the Athletic Conference of Private Schools of Greece. Strongyli is currently undecided on a major.
