ÂAs a Sophomore (2022-23): Finished first in the 100 free (52.71) and the 200 free (1:52.52) at Houston (Nov.5)... Member of the 200 free relay team that would retrieve a podium finish.
As a Freshman (2021-22): Began her career with a first place finish in the 1000 freestyle (10:28.42) at Little-Rock (Oct. 8)... Placed first in the 200 freestyle (1:54.18), second in the 200 IM (2:12.64) and second in the 400 medley relay (3:40.30) at West Florida (Oct. 15)... Placed second in the 800 freestyle relay (7:20.24) at West Florida (Oct. 15)... Finished third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.67 at LSU (Dec. 4)... Had a first place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:37.42) and a second place finish in the 400 medley relay (3:50.57) at SMU (Jan. 15)... Finished second in the 400 freestyle relay (3:28.66) in Houston (Jan. 28)... Had a season best in the 500 freestyle (4:59.52) at Georgia Tech (Jan. 28)... Helped set a Tulane record with the first ever medal in the AAC Championships with a win in the 800 freestyle relay (7:11.44), had a season best in the 100 freestyle (51.06) and in the 200 freestyle (1:33.19) (Feb.18).
ÂPrior to Tulane: Krew comes to New Orleans from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. As the team captain, Krew holds multiple swim awards, most notably the 200 and 400 freestyle relay state champion and record holder in 2017-2020. She also was the NISCA national champion in 2018 and the runner up in 2020. Most recently Krew was the 2021 Scholastic All American in the 200 free, 100 free, 100 fly, and 200 fly. Krew also swam for the Phoenix Swim Club and won the coaches’ award and best competitor award.
Personal: While in high school, Krew was top 5% in her class, a National Honor Society Member, President of the Math and Science Tutoring Club, a AP Scholar with Distinction, and the President of From Hearts to Soles. She intends to attend medical school in the hopes to make the lives of those around her better.
