Billy Picou joined the Tulane Athletics team as the Assistant Director of Ticket Sales in November 2024. Earlier that year, Picou graduated from the University of South Carolina, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management.
Before joining Tulane, Picou gained valuable experience with the Columbus Clingstones, the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, in Columbus, Georgia. In his role as an Account Executive, he worked closely with fans and ticket holders to drive sales and revenue in the first season of the organization.
While completing his studies at South Carolina, Picou worked as a Ticket Office Assistant for the university's athletic department, where he supported daily operations and customer service. He also worked with the Louisiana High School Athletic Association and the Tulane Athletic Department Business Office.
Picou is passionate about Tulane Athletics and will use his skills to create lasting, impactful relationships with other fans. He is excited to continue growing in his career with Tulane, contributing to the success and excitement of the Green Wave community.
