Gabe Delatte was promoted to director of equipment operations in April of 2018 after four years as the department's assistant director, a position he took over in the spring of 2014.

In his current role, Delatte manages all aspects of equipment operations for all Green Wave athletics programs. He administers Nike contract funds and manages coaches' Nike Elite accounts. Additionally, he supervises the design and ordering all competition uniforms, as well as supervising the entire equipment staff. Delatte is responsible for embellishing and maintaining the inventory of team apparel as well as managing team equipment budgets for all sports.

Prior to Tulane, Delatte had a three-and-a-half year stint in the student manager program at his alma mater, the University of Notre Dame. With the Fighting Irish, he worked as a football manager during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. From 2011-13, Delatte worked with the school's men's basketball team, where he coordinated team travel logistics, processed team expenses and supervised underclassman managers.

A native of LaPlace, La., Delatte earned his bachelor's degree in management entrepreneurship and economics from Notre Dame in May of 2013 and is currently pursuing an MBA at Tulane. He is married to the former Emily Bergeron and the couple has one son, Micah. They welcomed their first daughter, Norah, in October of 2017.
