Following years of experience in the office during his time as a Tulane student, George Marx joined the Green Wave ticket staff full time in July 2019 as an Account Manager before being named the Assistant Director of Ticket Sales and Operations in 2021, the Director of Ticket Operations in 2022 and was promoted to his current role of Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Sales and Service in July 2024.

Over the last eight years of working with the Ticket Office, Marx has gained valuable insight into Tulane's fan base while becoming proficient in Tulane's ticket sales and operations. He has worked to bring Tulane Athletics two of its highest seasons in ticket revenue and attendance, and he has consistently demonstrated leadership and dedication to enhancing the fan experience.

While earning his degree from Tulane, Marx was also an intern for the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and worked in the box office of the New Orleans Baby Cakes during the 2018 season.

Marx earned his bachelor's degree in management from Tulane in May 2019, and his MBA from the Freeman School of Business in December 2022.
