A native of Sebastopol, California, Housman is transitioning to Tulane's Business Operations department in the fall of 2024 after previously working as the Assistant Director of Equipment for the last two years

A 2022 Tulane University double major in philosophy and cognitive studies, Housman was previously named an Assistant Director of Equipment Operations at Tulane in the fall of 2023 a year after joining the department as a Graduate Assistant.

As an Equipment staffer, she managed football practice and assisted with Tulane's Cross Country, Track and Field, Sailing, Swimming and Diving, Women's Tennis, Women's Golf, Bowling and Cheerleading teams. She also helped run Wave Warehouse's in-person sales.
