The Old Dominion alumn started her college sailing career as a walk-on in the fall of 2014 for the Monarchs. While at ODU she was team captain for two consecutive years while contributing as a skipper and crew for both the women’s and co-ed teams. Her tenure included coaching teams at the high school level for Norfolk Collegiate where she guided the team to a 2nd place finish at High School Team Race Nationals. While at Norfolk Academy, Rovniak lead the sailors to obtain their goal of 1st place in VISA Championships and 1st place in TCIS.
