Traequan Key joined the Green Wave Club team in June 2025 as Associate Director of Development, Major Gifts for Tulane Athletics. In this role, he partners with supporters of Tulane Athletics to create a lasting impact on student-athletes and provide coaches with the resources necessary for success on the field of play.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Key earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration in 2022. Following graduation, he gained valuable experience in the ticket office at Wake Forest University as a Ticket Sales and Operations Associate and later in the advancement office at Elon University as Coordinator of Annual Giving. He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
He is passionate about building meaningful relationships with alumni, parents, and fans who support Tulane Athletics and its student-athletes. He is committed to creating an environment where supporters feel engaged, valued, and appreciated for their generosity.
Outside of work, he enjoys exploring everything New Orleans has to offer, spending time with family, and watching sports.
