Michele Adams was appointed faculty athletics representative for Tulane University Athletics on July 1, 2019. In her role, she serves as a liaison between the athletics and campus administrations.

Adams primarily serves as an associate professor of sociology in the school of liberal arts and as been an instructor at Tulane since 2003.

Adams earned her bachelor's degree in French at Bradley University and completed her master's degree in sociology at UC Riverside. She completed her Ph.D in sociology at UC Riverside in 2003.
