Football Season Ticket Packages Announced

NEW ORLEANS - 1998 Conference USA Champion Tulane announced its season ticket prices Wednesday, and once again the Green Wave offers one of the lowest priced tickets in all of Division I-A.
With a single-game ticket priced at $20, an adult season ticket for all five of Tulane's home games is $100. In addition, the Green Wave is offering a $35 youth season ticket, which sells for $7 per game. Season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Tulane Athletic Ticket Office or by calling (504) 861-WAVE.
"Tulane takes pride in offering a great family atmosphere at an affordable price," said Tulane Athletics Director Sandy Barbour. "All aspects of our marketing program, from our 5 p.m. kickoffs to the fact that we are one of the few schools that still offers a youth ticket, are geared towards making families welcome at Tulane football games."
The Green Wave is coming off a 12-0 1998 season, which saw it claim the C-USA title, a 41-27 win over BYU in the Liberty Bowl and a final national ranking of seventh (AP and USA Today). Tulane became the only Division I-A team in Louisiana history to go 12-0.
"We'll have a young team this Fall, but we'll be an exciting team to watch on both offense and defense" said Head Coach Chris Scelfo. "Our fans did a great job of supporting us last year at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, and our players are looking forward to having that same type of fan enthusiasm this Fall in the Superdome."
