NEW ORLEANS - Fresh off two strong performances, the Tulane track and field team returns home to host the 1999 Green Wave Invitational Saturday at Tad Gormley Stadium. Field events begin at 9 a.m., while the running events follow at noon.
The Green Wave enters the meet having posted two of its strongest performances of the season by recording six NCAA provisional qualifying marks in its last two meets. In addition to Tulane, Saturday's meet features 10 teams from the Southeast. Teams scheduled to compete include Alabama, Belhaven, Loyola, Mobile, Nicholls State, New Orleans, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Miss, Southwestern Louisiana, and West Florida.
