
Volleyball Cruises In 3-0 Win Over Southern

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Tulane (5-4) junior Kim Sentmore recorded a game high 12 kills and paced the Green Wave to a 3-0 victory over Southern University (4-9) on Tuesday evening.
The Wave rolled over the Lady Jaguars 15-9, 15-7, 15-6, and held Southern to a .172 hitting percentage. The victory marked Tulane's 21st consecutive win over the Lady Jaguars.
Leading the Green Wave was Sentmore with 12 kills, nine digs and six service aces. Ashley Reese served three aces, recorded nine kills and eight digs. Lacey Vicknair led the team in blocks with three.
For Southern, Chivonne Fair recorded a team high seven kills and five digs.
The Green Wave continues its homestand with two weekend matches against Conference USA opponents South Florida and Houston. Tulane takes on the Bulls Friday evening at 7 p.m. before facing the Cougars on Sunday at 2 p.m.
