
Tulane Boasts Conference USA Volleyball Player Of The Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Tulane volleyball stand out Kim Sentmore was named Conference USA Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Sentmore, a right side hitter on the Green Wave volleyball team, was named the C-USA Volleyball Player of the Week for her efforts this past weekend in the Louisiana Tech Power Volleyball Tournament and against No. 2 Stanford on Monday. Sentmore is the first Tulane volleyball player to receive player of the week honors from C-USA.
In Tulane's first four matches of the season, Sentmore recorded two double-doubles and 20 plus kills in three of the four matches. Against No. 2 Stanford, Sentmore set a career high in kills in a single game with 23. For the week she averaged 5.38 kills, 3.25 digs per game and hit .223.
Up next for Tulane is the LSU Invitational Sept. 10-11 in Baton Rouge, La.
