Tulane Volleyball Falls To Depaul, 3-1

CHICAGO, Ill. - Despite a career high performance for senior Kim Sentmore, the Tulane (14-9, 6-5 C-USA) volleyball team dropped its third straight match to DePaul (18-7, 8-3 C-USA) 3-1 on Friday evening. The game scores were 15-9, 15-10, 12-15 and 15-8.
At one point the Wave trailed 12-0 before scoring eight unanswered points to come within four of the Blue Demons in game one. The rally was not enough as DePaul took the first game 15-9. DePaul claimed game two 15-10, but TU took control of game three winning it 15-12. The Demons took the match with a 15-8 clinch of game four.
Leading the Wave was Sentmore who tallied a career high 31 kills. Freshman Karlyn Daly had a career high four kills. Freshman Lauren Jones-McClain had a team high 15 digs. Junior Erin Dobyanski recorded a team high seven blocks. Setter Jennifer Witte had a career high eight kills.
DePaul was led by Stephanie Bishop who recorded 16 kills. Kara Jakusz posted a team high 18 digs.
On Saturday, Tulane travels to Milwaukee, Wis., for a 7:00 p.m. match with Marquette.
