Tulane Volleyball Falls To No. 9 Florida 3-0

BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Tulane (17-17) volleyball team ended its 2000 season with a 3-0 loss to No. 9 Florida (27-4) Saturday afternoon. The game scores were 15-1, 15-4 and 15-10.
Tulane's 17 wins mark the best total since 1994, when the Wave compiled a 20-9 record.
Florida's attack overpowered Tulane as they held the Wave to just five points in the first two games. Niki Hartley put down a match high 11 kills and recorded nine digs.
Tulane's Britney Hurst posted a team high eight kills, while Lauren Jones-McClain led the Wave in digs with seven. Erin Dobyanski had an errorless performance with six kills in 10 attempts.
