Senior Lyndie Galka is a key middle distance runner for the Tulane track teams, as well as a member of the Wave cross country program. On Friday, she posted her top cross country finish of the year to lead Tulane to victory in a dual meet against UNO. She has also been part of C-USA Champion relay teams in indoor and outdoor track, helping the Wave to last year's Conference Championship in the spring. Galka, who is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Board, is majoring in cellular and molecular biology and plans to attend medical school.
