Linebacker David Dorsey is one of many metro New Orleans area natives who decided to stay close to home to play collegiate football for the Green Wave. For his career, Dorsey has tallied 82 tackles, including 56 solo stops and eight tackles behind the line of scrimmage totalling 29 yards lost. He has two career sacks, including a tackle of Louisville quarterback Dave Ragone in the end zone for a safety last season. As a senior, Dorsey's played in all six games and has 14 tackles, one fumble recovery for six yards and a forced fumble. Dorsey is majoring in media arts.
