
Noel Comrie Named Men's Track Athlete of the Week

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Tulane University senior Noel Comrie (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) was named the Athlete of the Week for men's track by Conference USA this week.
Comrie broke his own school record in the triple jump at the Tulane Invitational on Saturday with a jump of 53-0.25. He broke his old record (50-0.75) by over two feet. In addition, the jump is a provisional qualifying distance for the NCAA Championships. It is the sixth-best jump of the spring in the NCAA.
The Green Wave is in action this weekend at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational in Baton Rouge on Saturday. Tulane's men's team is ranked No. 18 in the most recent Trackwire rankings.
