Fans planning to attend the Tulane-Southern football game at the Louisiana Superdome Saturday are advised to arrive early because of newly-implemented security measures. Kickoff for the game is at 2:30 p.m. and gates will open at 1 p.m.
The following procedures will be implemented:
ARRIVAL

STADIUM ACCESS
-- Coolers, bags, backpacks, fanny packs and large purses are banned from the Superdome.
-- Small receptacles, such as small ladies' purses and diaper bags will be subject to visual searches at the gates.
-- Prohibited items will not be stored or disposed at the gate, they must be returned to your vehicle.
-- The Superdome's no re-entry policy will be stringently enforced.
-- Entry for Box Suite patrons will be through Gate A, Ground Level, or through the Plaza Level gates only.
-- Access to the parking garages will be through all normal entrances.
PARKING
-- All vehicles parking in the Superdome garages and anywhere on Superdome premises will be subject to inspection. Fans should make plans to arrive early.
TRAFFIC
