Casey Roussel is beginning his fifth year as a member of the Tulane football team. A candidate for the Ray Guy Award as the top punter in the nation, Roussel's 44.2 yards per punt is the best in school history. In addition to excelling on the gridiron, Casey is an excellent student and active in the community. Last fall he was a member of Tulane's 3.0 Academic Club as an organizational information technology major. A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, he works as a counselor at the Ray Guy Kicking Camps and has been a volunteer for the Special Olympics. While he hopes to pursue a career in the professional football ranks following his Tulane tenure, he also plans to continue with his education and earn an MBA.
