Greenbackers to Hold Signing Day Party at Wilson Center

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane "Greenbackers" will hold the Annual February Signing Day Party next Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 5-7 p.m. in the Jim Wilson Intercollegiate Athletics Center. Beer, soda and snacks will be available for sale during the event, which includes free admission and is open to all Tulane fans.
During the party, Tulane head coaches Chris Scelfo (football) and Betsy Anderson (women's soccer) will present the names and video highlights of the newest additions to the Tulane Athletics family on the first day of the February signing period. The event will be held in newly-renamed Ben Weiner Hall inside the Wilson Center on Ben Weiner Drive. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Later in February, the Tulane Athletics Equipment Room will "clean out its closets" for the annual Equipment Room Yard Sale, featuring authentic Tulane jersies, uniforms and athletics merchandise. The sale will be held Saturday, Feb. 23rd from Noon-3 p.m. in Ben Weiner Hall, prior to the Green Wave's baseball game versus George Washington, which begins at 2 p.m. at Turchin Stadium. Items on sale include authentic Tulane uniforms from all sports and the same t-shirts, shorts and sweats worn by the student-athletes.
