NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Tulane Volleyball team is unstoppable. Last week we were able to defeat two top teams in our conference and grab not only a 5th ranked seeding in the conference tournament, but a regional ranking of 8th. This is an awesome opportunity for the Green Wave volleyball team. We are on a seven game winning streak and we need to carry that same momentum through the 2002 Healthy Choice Conference USA Tournament which begins Friday in Chicago, Ill. I am extremely excited for our team, because we definitely have an opportunity to do extremely well. We have worked hard this year, and all of that hard work will be put into action this weekend. Maintaining confidence in ourselves and each other will be keys in winning this tournament.
Last week was very momentous for me as well. I would like to thank everyone who has been constant supporters of the Tulane volleyball team this year. Also, for your presence at my last home game. It's weird knowing that I will never step foot on the court in Fogelman Arena, but I pray that what I have done for the Tulane Volleyball team we always be remembered. I am truly going to miss being a part of this wonderful program.
I have grown so much because of this program. My coaches and teammates have been my family for the past four years and I have learned so much from them. My experiences at Tulane will be etched in my mind forever and I thank everyone who has made my four years here a remarkable experience. I will definitely take everything I have learned here and apply it in my future endeavors.
